Banda Brothers and their Band at Hollywood & Highland
July 15th, 2008
I have been wanting to catch one of the free Jazz concerts at Highland and Hollywood on Tuesday nights, and I finally got the opportunity. I was there to see the Banda Brothers and their Band. Their style of Jazz has an Afro-Caribbean flavor and it was beautiful. There was this guy on percussions that was awesome, his name is Joey De Leon, Jr.
Joey, by way of the Bronx, New York, has been all over the world showcasing his talent, and yes he is quite talented, and quite easy on the eyes. It is breathtaking to see a man with that kind of passion; it just draws you in. I took about a hundred photos that night but only going to show you a few here.
I thoroughly enjoyed floating around taking pictures, trying to get the perfect shot, and I must say that I got some really good ones. There are a myriad of free summer concerts in the Los Angeles area and I hope to get to see a few more before they all end.
